Bacon-Fraser House, on the National Register of Historic Places, is a
privately owned home. The blooming azaleas and camellias in the home's
garden, add to its beauty.
The
courthouse in Liberty County was constructed in 1926 and is listed on
the National Register of Historic Places.
One
of the popular places to visit in Hinesville is the Old Liberty County
Jail. This attraction was built in 1882 and contained all the modern
conveniences- running water, inside plumbing and fireplaces. The county
used this jail until 1972.
Hinesville
is the home of the Fort Stewart Military Museum, which focuses on the
history of Fort Stewart, the 3rd Infantry Division and the 24th Infantry
Division.
